I get the idea that this time around they might be going for a 2D perspective with some 3D mixed in. As far a visuals, the game looks stunning, but if the previous 3D Sonic entries were anything to go by, it'll need a lot more than visuals to help it...

Geez just come out with a Sonic Adventure 3 (or 4 if you count Heroes, the rest aren't even close to worthy). It's almost too smooth, Adventure 2 had the speed but...compare it yourself:

Oh yay a new Sonic game that will try to revive the series but fail. Which is sad because I remember when there were good Sonic games. Like Sonic 2.
