I made this "DVD wishlist" thread in it I said Nausicaa was the animated film made in the 80s,someone else said, that title belongs to Grave of the Fireflies....
since I saw a preview of it on the Nausicaa DVD I thought to myslef I should watch it, so I rented it at Block Buster, that must be one of the most saddest movies I have ever seen ;( , I cryed the entire second half of the movie.




So If anyone hasnt seen it yet, I suggest you see it.

Ha! Once I saw that very same post about Grave of the Fireflies, I considered renting it. I am going to do it today and watch it this weekend. I hope I can hold it together long enough to make it to the end!

Holy crap! That really was one of the saddest things I have ever seen! I can't believe that a cartoon could generate such emotions, but so many anime films have done that for me whereas "normal" films haven't generated those feelings in years! Incredibly touching and well-done. ;(

Hmm...should've just edited my previous post probably, but wanted to draw attention to the post/thread.

yeah I watched it twice....and cryed both times,I guess it really shows that the ones that deserve hurt of of war the least feel it the most
