I have CS:CZ retail that i bought at the stores. Now when CS:S starts to pre-load/i can download it on my computer, do i need CS:CZ currently installed or before i preload CS:S can i just type in my CS:CZ key INSTEAD of preloading/downloading CS:CZ through steam with the option "i currently have this game"

i thought you need to have it installed make sure you can see the CZ icons in steam that way SC:S will "know" that you got it and you can start pre-loading the 5th... if that date wont be postponed

see, if you entered your cz cdkey over steam then its remembered in your account that you have access to cz and cs:s. You dont need it installed but you need to make sure steam has CZ icon unlocked by entereing your cdkey in. Or same if you bought it over steam. It leaves a note by your account that you have rights to CZ and therefore... CS:S!
