im in need of a new video card, my last one i bought was a cheapo one and the mic port sucked balls. So i was wondering if any of you knew anything about the mic port. on newegg.com they have a thingy for it that has numbers like 32, 64, 128, 1024, 20

what do these numbers mean?

Are you sure you don't mean soundcard ? Go for a SB Audigy or something like that. I just use onboard 5.1 audio atm.
