Sound Card or Onboard Sound?

Hi, i have a fairly simple question about setting up my comp. i was wondering if i should stick my cheap sb live card in or use the onboard sound on the msi neo2 platinum?

If its a "cheap" sound card, just use the onboard sound. I use an older MSI board than yours, and it sounds fine. I dont really care about sound, so I've got cheap speakers too.

yea i just got like 2 speakers and a sub, and they came with my dell so i don't think there any good. i heard that onboard sound takes power away from your cpu, is that true?
