I got my new PC the other day and I just finished installing most of the drivers/components. I have a Creative SBLive! sound card and a Plantronics DSP 500 USB headset installed but I'm having trouble getting my speakers/sound card working. The headphones work fine, but I can't hear anything from my speakers. They are hooked up correctly and the sound card appears in my device manager. It's not muted or anything like that. I've installed the drivers from the disc I got from the mfg.
When I try to update the drivers through windows it tells me that they can't find any better drivers for my card, but when I try to download drivers from creative.com and run the .exe it tells me that it can't find the card installed on my system at all. Does anyone know how I could get my sound card working?
