Sound echo

hi everybody!

I have installed Half life 2 about a week ago and started playing it right away.
The first time i started the game i first got a window with tabs to set my performances.
There was also a tab where you could change your sound setting (like in a hangar, in an arena, ...) so i selected in a hangar thinking it would be a nice add-on to the realism of the game.
I liked that setting a lot, so i kept it.

Little did i know that the hangar setting was now applied to my entire computer.
Everything i do now on my pc has a irritating echo (because we are still in a hangar:hmph: )

I have been searching for an entire week and i still haven't found that tab to change it back.

Does anyone know the screen i am talking about?
And if you do, do you know how to get there again?

go to control panel and click sound settings. then explore and you should be able to find it no problem. also it may be named environmental sounds or EAX.

Thanks, i didn't see that option before, but now it's fixed.
