Sound echoes

I have a SB AUDIGY EAX PCI SOUND CARD 5.1 W/ DIGITAL OUT, and creative inspire 6.1 6600 speakers and winxp. They have worked fine until recently when there has been echoing when listening to mp3's or video's on the internet. There is no echo if I watch a movie on my comp, or if I am playing a game. Anyways does anyone know where I can find an option to fix this or something, it's really pissing me off. Thanks.

If you have the drivers and software installed you can select if you want the echo effect on or off, turn int on first, then turn it off again, that should fix your problem.


(I have the same card, same problem, creeps up every now and then.)
