sound gone...

ok didnt find any posts on this yet, but I just updated steam and cs:s and all that and when I started cs:s I had no sound at all!!!! its definetely the update cuz last night it was fine, and all i did today was this update, also, I tried deathmatch and hl2 singleplayer, they all have NO sound at all, the only sound I get is at the Valve logo at the beginning of deathmatch and hl2... anyone got this also??

ok uhm, I just went through my valve directory and found out that ALL my sound folders are GONE, like they were deleted... like... wtf??? did the update do that? now, do i have to reinstall EVERYTHING?? or is there a way to fix that??

Revalidate your files for all the games perhaps, or try and update the game content wen you right click the game in 'my games' list. All i can think of, weird bug though!

completly reinstalled halflife2/css and sound is back again...
