Sound problem with new mobo..

Hi,
I have an MSI K8N Neo Platinum...its working great, except for there is this really odd static sound in the background....it intesifies with i move the mouse or window or anything. Can anybody help? Thanks

what soundcard are you using? or are you using the onboard sound?

Yes, Ist a realtek AC97 7.1 surround. I uninstalled the sound drivers and it still comes through
