Sound problem

Every so often, when I'm trying to join a server, the sound (music) will suddenly cut out for no reason. There will then be no sound in BF2 until I disconnect from said server. This means I can either play with no sound at all, or wait for BF2 to 'unload resources' (hell, it's usually quicker to reset my PC). It is annoying. Anyone know how to fix it?

Haha! Hilarious! It used to happen every 1 in ten times I tried to join a server. NOW IT HAPPENS EVERY TIME.

I HATE YOU BF2. YOU ARE THE BIGGEST BASTARD OF A GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED. YOU TAUNT ME WITH BEING BRILLIANT WHILE AT THE SAME TIME TAKING AN HOUR JUST TO GET ON A DECENT SERVER.

edit: Sorry for double post. I am so angry that I wish I had another keyboard, just so I could break this one in half.
