Do regular home theater systems work on computers or do I have to go out and buy a 5.1 surround sound system like from Bose or something? Just wondering. Thanks in Advance.

no regualr sound systems will work with pcs u just have to buy like a 5 dollar adapter so u can convert the cables to hook up with the pc

You probably just need to get 3 minijack to RCA adapters, unless your fortunate enough to have a sound card or integrated sound with Dolby Digital Encoding. (which you probably dont have)

You'll probably have to use the 3 adapters to run 3 analog stereo signals via RCAs to the receivers (front, center, rear).

Ah thanks, yeah Im not fortunate to hve those 2 lol, i was thinking of getting a sound blaster audigy zs but not sure, also maybe on of the new soundblasters perhaps? Ill check out those 3 minijack adapters first, thanks.
