Today I went out and bought the sound track to The Punisher.

I must say it's rather fantastic, especially for a rock cd. Most soundtracks focusing on rock suck, and have crappy bands like Limp Bizkit and such.

Anyway.

What are some of your favorite sound tracks?

Danny Elfman's my favorite sound track composer.

Movies:
Planet of the Apes (new one)
Edward Scissor Hands

Spider-Man

Yeah, he's really good.
His scores for Spider-Man were great. But the line-up on that disc wasn't too impressive. The best on there were Corey Taylor and Nikelback.

Out of Time (movie sucked, but had an awesome soundtrack)

I personally thought Spiderman was some of Elfman's absolute worst work in years...I'm a huge fan of his (Nightmare, Scissorhands) and I can usually remember his themes pretty well, but I'd be hard pressed to tell you if Spiderman even HAD a theme...
 
im surprised no one mentioned battlefield vietnam for a best game soundtrack.
 
I loved Spidermans soundtrack. I thought it's his best work ever!! It's very grand and just pumps you up for those awesome scenes as Spidey is swinging throught he city-scapes. Just brilliant scoring imo!!

Well, those works are far greater. But I still enjoyed the ending theme. Sorry, I should've specified. Other than that, the cd was crap.
 
First off, Soundtracks is one word ;)

But I enjoy almost all soundtracks by John Williams, for he is the God of Soundtracks. I also enjoy
Titanic,
Braveheart,
Lord of the Rings Trilogy,
Back to the Future,
The Godfather,
Gladiator,
Lion King,
The Magnificent Seven,
Lawrence of Arabia,
and Gone with the Wind.

As for Game Soundtracks, it's all Final Fantasy ^_^
