Soundcards?

Anyone know the best soundcard for under $60. I had one in mind but Newegg took it off their website.. I want one that is 5.1 and also has awesome sound quality. I don't want to put it in, turn on my speakers, then hear some crispy sounds.

My onboard sound has great quality, and my new alienware has 7.1 onboard... I've never gotten a sound card and never will.

I am getting this mobo: MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum I was wondering if onboard sound even with about 4-5 speakers would run perfectly fine. If I use onboard will it lag at all? Does it sound very clear? I do not want any static sounds when I want to use my speakers.

AC97 audio works but isnt all that good.
