I'm a talented and dedicated soundtrack artist with experience in all styles. I have my own studio capable of producing high quality music for your mod.

Reply with your email to be sent a sample of my work.

Yup, your gonna have to post examples up here. Anyone can claim to have a sound studio, but your going to need to prove you can do what you claim.

Danman60, i recommend you put some of your music up on dmusic, they're the least likely to mess u around (IUMA has terrible bandwidth problems these days, don't even mention mp3.com). I look forward to hearing some of your soundtracks. :D

I can't seem to attach my sample in zip format. When I hit the upload button, I get a "page not found." And working on a movie sounds even better!

Not ATM, if you wanna give me some details I can bang something up.

hey!

I'm also a musician :D Good work... the only criticism I would have is that, it sounds kinda flat, maybe work on the EQ or something, or maybe it was just a lower quality export? Keep up the good work...

if you wanna hear some of my stuff:

indirock.mp3 (I gave this one to marine eater, for his Mod Zombie panic, so you might hear it in that mod if they put it in :D)

thejungle.mp3 (this one is really short, just an example).

and my mod web site ;)

HL2HO <-- add it to your bookmarks! Were putting up model and audio (music) content soon :D good luck with your music!

And to admit it, even though I am a muscian I do not record professionaly at my house, I just do this stuff with my comp and play some guitar parts (if you hear guitar in it, it may be mine.)

Danman60 if you want to get anywhere fast around this place, then learning that most people want 'John Williams in a Can' will get you places. I don't know what budget you're on, but these results are quite attainable now on a budget. The sample CD industry got wind of peoples need so have started bumping out lots of scaled back versions of there £2000 upwards products. For example East West Silver Strings doesn't have a Cello, yet it uses the same samples as the £2000, so u can sound like big Jonny himself (well, close anyway). The other set-back is with the East West pack, the hall reverb is recorded into the samples, so u can only use the strings in a big hall (again great for film orchestral stuff, but say u wanted a subtle moving string quartet piece...), the 'yin' to East Wests Silver Strings 'yang', is Garritan Personal Orchestra, this is what I'm getting next - instead of strings, you get a pretty well stocked orchestra (including a Steinway Grand Piano and a nifty Pipe Organ), the main demographic for this release are the people who work with smaller ensembles (think of Bjork Homogenic's as a good signpost). While not made specifically to compete with the big orchestral workhorses, you can get some realistic filmscore results, using some clever reverb work and good arrangement you could compete with the East West product, it's just that the EW strings, hit the ground running when it comes to orchestrating the blockbuster type stuff.

ayerrr :P

It sounds wicked, the notes are very well chosen =0) The notes go really rockin' together and everything, but the guitar just doesn't "sound" quite like a real guitar would :P I play guitar so yeah its easy for me to do guitar parts :D Really cool style, bass is pretty good, its a little harder to tell a synthed bass from a real one because its such a low frequency it doesnt really matter :P Yeah I think you may need to get some better samples or something, the drums sound close but the hats are a bit synthed sounding. If you somehow managed to change all those instruments to sound more like the real ones, you would probably have a career in sound/studio work :D
