Source in Wine, got any ideas?

Source is supposed to work fairly well via wine on a linux rig, but mine keeps crashing? any one here running source and steam via wine that might be able to help me out?

well, this fixed the flickering problem in games and during the loading screen, but it keeps crashing at the same point. Call of duty 2 crashes too but i can at least can get in game until it asks me if i want to reverse the mouse movement, then it crashes.
