source wont connect

all of a sudden cs source wont connect. it will out of game lookign for servers but once its in the game it will not find any servers or connect. but dod source still works just fine...anyone know?

i turned off all anti spy programs and reinstalled it and turned off my firewall

Try deleting the clientregistry.blob in your Steam folder (first log out, delete it, and then log in again)

I'm having the exact same problem and that didn't help. Anyone got any ideas. Hl2 dm works fine but cs fails trying to connect every time.

I've been getting that with dod:s since the latest update. Haven't tried cs:s since then, but hl2 mods work fine.

i was just about to make a thread about this because i am having the same problem...its happening for DoD:S and CS:S...there are a couple of rooms i can get in, and thats sometimes, but for the most part i can never get in a room anymore

Look at what game you're connecting to. All after the last update 1.6 servers are showing up aswell as source, so you're probably connecting to 1.6 servers.
