I just received 3 spam messages on my mobile phone. I don't know how i got signed up to their list or anything, but each charged me £1.50 just to receive the message. I had just put £10 on my phone and now i have £2.82. I cannot describe how much of a bad mood I'm in. I forgot to take the number, because i was going to phone up the complaints people. I really wish there was a law against spam like this. I'm sure there is in fact. Charging me just to receive something i never asked for and i don't even want. Its a load of crap. I almost threw my phone out the window i was so annoyed, but then i thought that i would rather take a crowbar to the head of the person that sent the message.

I'm normally quite a patient and calm person but this has really rubbed me up the wrong way. I don't have a lot of money and my mum gave me that tenner to put on the phone. I'm gonna have to wait another month before i can get another top up. Once i find out who those people are, i swear i am gonna send a package with something that looks like anthrax in and write a note telling them it will be real next time if they don't stop this crap.

Wow dude...that really sucks!

I dont know if its the same in other countries as it is in sweden, but isnt it free to recive SMS? Or is it just these messages that cost?

I think that all the country's that use the new Digital system also let you receive messages and incoming calls for free. So far Ive only seen the USA (that uses the old analogue system) that charge for incoming calls and messages.
