At first I was like "wow, wtf. Hes just a spammer, dont take it so seriously" then I read that he made 3.5 million dollars doing it and then I was like "****er!"

At least the baby was unhurt and the girl wasnt killed. Shes going to be pretty messed up though.

Spammers are predators. They prey on people for profit. If you've ever read any interviews with honest spammers, you would know that they do tons of research to see how effective they can be at bypassing defenses and attempting to snag profits.

They send spam for alcohol to alcoholics... try to direct recovering gambling addicts to gambling sites, sending pharmaceutical spam to people suffering from anxiety order.

They make shitloads of money offering faulty, questionable products to people.

Granted, people are idiots to succumb to these things, but we still prosecute fraudsters anyways, even though they manage to snag money from their victims.

Yeah, but you'd also have to be pretty stupid to get sucked into any other sort of fraud scheme... yet there's a reason we prosecute people who commit fraud.
