Looks like a mixture between Gladiator and 300.

They really should record new screams, reusing sounds hundreds of times FTL.

I can tolerate the Academy scream, the wilhelm scream is the most annoying though.

Looks a little too over the top.
I hope there's a lot more to it than just sex and gladiatorial combat.

300 and Gladiator were both highly entertaining but I'm not entirely sure they'd work as well as a TV series, we shall see though.
