spawning hostages

Hey guys, I was just wondering if you guys know the command to spawn hostages... for example.. i went to this server, and the admin was spawing hostages for fun to shoot.. would you guys happen to know the command for doing this? i asked him, and he wouldnt tell me. :angry:

he didnt tell you cause you pooped in his dads cereal. type in cmdlistand look for it.

i think i know the command, for all you admins out there, try messing around with this command, create_npc <npc> . If you guys want to read up about it, type "find create_npc" in console, and it will tell you about the command.. le tme know if you guys find a combination with that that works. I was trying earlier, but couldnt find anything that would work...

I found npc_create but npc_create hostage doesn't work. Any ideas?

ya, i meant npc_create and i was trying hostage and a bunch of other things that didnt work! :angry: :angry: Doesnt Anyone know how to get this to work?!?

I havent found anything that works at all.... im hoping someone with the answer will just happen to spot this and chime there 2 cents . I beg of you.. give me your 2 cents... ;(

Well Im not really sure if this is a good or bad thing. But I found out how to crash the game with npc_create......... type npc_create hostage_entity and see what happends.

someone out there must know how to do this

ent_ commands too are entities and the "npc_kill" isnt there but ent_reset is (removes entity you're looking at)

and it said removed hostage_entity so its the right name its just not creating (it crashes!)

i wonder if you can spawn other items, such as a bottle.. or barrel? I better stay on topic, with the hostages.. im gonna go try to figure out some other stuff to see if i can get it to work. :rolling: oh, and good find all you guys.

try impulse 102. it spawns little skulls. they are pretty cool but it sucks when you have like 50 of them it slows down a lot. :-/
