Ok. I was playing Pro Evolution Soccer 3 when the crowd cheered and I noticed that my front right speaker made some quiet static noise. I took this speaker out and replaced it with my centre speaker leaving me with 4 speakers. I changed the setting from 5.1 to 4 speakers and started playing again. Again, static was coming from the front right speaker even though its a different speaker I've put in. So i put my old speaker back in and changed it to 5.1 again but this time lowered the sound of the front right speaker all the way down and started to play AGAIN. But AGAIN, static came from the speaker even though no noise was. PHEW.
Is this a problem with my subwoofer do you think? Any solutions to this? I have some Creative 5.1 Speakers and I have onboard sound (nForce 2) that supports 5.1.
