i figured i would start my own thread even though there is one about speakers because i'm asking about completely different speakers...
I want some good speakers for $80 tops. I was looking at the Logitec Z-5300's, does anyone know if there is any difference between the Z-5300 regular and the Z-5300e's besides the color? Also what are the best speakers for that price, whats the best brand cause i know creative and logitech battle alot around that price range...?

Thanks for the help in advance.

Aren't the Z-5300's a lot more than $80?

Logitech is probably the better way to go, in my opinion. Although Creative has some good models out as well.

yea there are alot more, about 50- 60 dollors more, but i'm thinking about pulling that extra money out of the bank if they're worth it, does anyone know if they are worth the extra money.... for instance how much better are they than the T5800 by creative?

Yes the Z5300 are awesome! Get em
The speakers below 100$ aren't that great. You can tell the difference.

I have a 5.1 Creative system right now and I'm really thinking of getting Logitech's 2.1 Z series speakers. You can't turn mine up near as loud and have it sound still solid.

i think this will be my last question about speakers. I was wondering if anyone knew if the 4.1 z-560 was a very good logitech system or not. Is it comparable to the z-640's or are they better, cause they are more expensive?

I was also wondering if i bought one more speaker for it, say later on, would it run in 5.1 if i set my sound card to 5.1 sound? I was just wondering this cause the speakers look exactly the same as the expensive, Z-680's?

I dont think they have an extra plug in the back for the extra speakers since it is a set. Could be wrong.

do you guys think they are as good as the z-640's, even though they are only 4.1 or what speakers in the same price are better? They cost about 100
