Will this be able to run hl2 at full spec with a decent frame rate ?

Be sure to keep away the extraneous malware, and keep your drivers updated.

That's what i have, except 1 gig of poorer ram, and i'm seeing 80-90 fps on the HL2 VST all on high (no aa/af) and from 30-100 fps in CS:S, all on high

The only choises you'll have to make is how high you want your resolution and if you want to turn on AA/AF because those are the fps killers. It all depends at what frame rate your confortable playing.

You can't. Only CS:S-beta entitled people get their hands on it.

Because they're stupid. I'm starting to think that Valve is getting scared because of how well the 6800's are doing after promoting ATi so heavily.

I have a 6800GT and the CSS beta.
Although many people on this board with ATI X800 cards do better than mine, at least in the VST.
