What is a bit strange:
"As you advance in rank you will gain access to weapons from the expansion to use in BF2. This means that there are no unique unlocks in the expansion but you unlock the possibility to use weapons from the expansion in the original game."

How will that be sorted out for people that won't get the expansion? What I mean is, they would need to download new content to get the weapon models and stuff. Probably in the patch that comes out for BF2 upon SF's release.

That seems silly. They are trying pretty hard to get people to buy it.

Would that also mean you would be able to use those ziplines and grapling hooks in regular BF2? That would be very cool. I am getting the expansion anyway ....

i'm still upset that the potential for people to have night vision goggles is 50%. I just think it's pointless to make the maps at night and then give everybody night vision goggles! Because everybody will just wear the goggles and it'll be just like playing in the daytime while wearing tinted sunglasses!

Yeah good point, the developer for Splinter Cell's multiplayer came to the same conclusion.

I know what you mean, it is a bit odd. If they don't do this then there will be a community divide
