How do I make my name in game have those wierd letters and symbols that look chinese?

You can look at/copy special characters in 'charmap'. Goto start->run and type 'charmap'.

If you could specify a little, there are alot of fonts that can classify as "weird letters". I think you could try and change the language the letters are written as while playing, I'm not entirely sure how you do that but try changing the language in Steam or somewhere in the game.

To the poster: Go into Word, hit Insert > Symbols. Make your name, copy and then start CS:S, in the nickname box Ctrl-V.

Wow, that is quite rash, please don't do that it is not needed.

Anyway, you can also type up what you want in Word, ie. use the special characters you want, and copy/paste from there into CSS.

It's a bit frustrating when there are 2 people with names in Arabic (Arabic names are pretty common actually) on a server and you're trying to say something to one of them. You need to say something like "Hey Arabic name guy, with the MP5 under the overpass! Yeah, you, watch where you throw your flashbangs!".

I like to use characters that look like real letters for my name. For example: My clan is Seven Deadly Sins, so my name would be: 7x Lust x7. I decided to "jazz it up" by using alt+#### key combinations, so now my name reads: 7x £ µ § † x7. I also put spaces between the characters so it is easier to read.

PS: the combinations are:

£ = alt+0163
µ = alt+0181
§ = alt+0167
† = alt+0134
(you can find these, as well as others, by using character map, but you have to find ones that have an alt+#### key combo in the lower right corner of the window when you click on them.)
