Spectator Movement

I searched for slipping, sliding, and gliding, and spectator, so if this has been asked before...sorry.

In spectator mode (after you've been killed) is it normal for movement using the WASD keys to cause your view to "slip around"? Where it keeps moving a second after you've let go of the key? I also notice it does it slightly when in game, but not anything to complain about. Is there a setting i can change? Also, can you turn off clipping in spectator mode?

I think I remember seeing an option like that... but it might have been server-side. I'll have to look again when I get home from the eye doctor.

Yes it is normal. Like driving a spacecraft. The thrusters in spectator mode in Counterstrike take a little while to dethrust.
