Splinter Cell 1 help... please (spoilers)

1st of all... yes... i know I'm still playing SC 1

anyway, about 7 months ago i picked this up and started playing it.. i got to mission 4 (CIA HQ), spent 3 full days on it, and gave up, and i thought i hated and sucked at stealth games til i was talking to ray_MAN one day and he informed that SC was extremely hard so i said ":O... it's not me?!" and he said yes. so i put it back in my cube and started playing it again from mission 4. then i realized i have no idea how i got to the CIA HQ or why i was there... this is where you, the reader, come into play... i need you to tell me what the story is for SC upto mission 4, the CIA HQ. Any help would be greatly appreciated! thank you in advance

You are Sam Fisher, you have a daughter who doesn't know too much about your career. The government is....doing.....mean things. God wtf I forgot. Haven't played it in so long. However, I think he was there to find the mole in the CIA who was giving information to that president guy nicoladze or whatever.

erm... no its very easy on normal difficulty and moderate on hard difficulty
just have to get used to it i think

Yes, that's it. A mole. I like that level...I know nobody else does but I'm a pacifist (I hardy killed anyoen in some levels). Of course, Splinter Cell is a veyr linear game so there isn't much room for pacifism.

Theres a section (barbed wire is missing in one part I think) of fence you can climb over and then you go through the ventilation system before it turns back on.
