Splinter Cell: Conviction Dev Diary

Original Splinter Cell didn't start a new genre, but added many new gameplay elements/standarts to gaming universe.
 
Meh ... most of what it did was already done in Thief and Metal Gear. It was more like a mix of those two franchises than anything else. It's big, headlining feature was shadow gameplay ... which Thief had already done.

Don't get me wrong, I love Splinter Cell - but these devs have their heads firmly lodged in their asses.
