I was playing second level of dustbowl, on defence. They were after the 2nd CP. I went in the tunnel with the mesh door, thet only opens one way, and in there...

2 fully upgraded Sentrys
2 Dispensers
2 Tellaports
0 Engineers
0 Guards.

Each SG = 530 points of Metal x2 =1600 metal.
Each Dispenser = 100 points of metal x2 = 200 metal
Each Telly (exit) = 125 P.o.M x2 = 250 metal.

Total: 2050 P.o.M in 5 short seconds.

And another great thing? They were all lined up nicely.

I also broke my record of buildings destroyed, but I had got some telly enters too.

Anyone else have great times like this?

I had a lovely time on 2fort yesterday. Red kept coming across the bridge in waves; I cloaked off the battlements, ran behind them, stabbed everyone, and ran back into my base. Did that a few times in a row, had 9 backstabs - 2 better than my previous record, which was a truly amazing match on Hydro - in a bit less than a minute.

Had a great match of 2fort earlier tonight. Playing as the pyro, running across the bridge, all of sudden 3 soldiers, a heavy and a demoman jump down, i was thinking 'ohshi' but i charged in! Got a critical and kill all of them!

Then i was killed by a spy. :(

I had ten back stabs in a row in 2Fort.But that was about two weeks ago.

2fort wins for spy. Cloak off the battlements and straight down the sewer. Cloak from the stairs at the top of the sewer to the main area by the spawn garage and into a little side bit(there is 3, one going to battlements, 1 to intel, and 1 to the hole that drops to the entrance) disguise depending on your purpose and go.

Nah, the more open the battlefield is, the more fun it is to play a spy. I think Hydro is the most fun to play him.

To OP: I love those moments! :D. Also, when you're a spy, and the enemy just DOESN'T notice you, at all! Had 10 backstabs when that happened :)

Only works if no one sees you in the sewer a competent player will check.

I've had more success disguising as a teammate on 2fort going on the bridge, turning invisible and sneaking into the base, only works if the bridge isn't crowded though, and if it is just turn invisible and sidestep out of the bridge.

Yeah, that's what I do. You can stay cloaked all the way across, then hide in a blind corner - just out front and to the side is my favorite - and recharge, then run in and get basically anywhere before the cloak runs out.

I kicked more butt one time as the soldier than he did in the video.
By the end of my life, which was a long time, I had 21 more kills.

The only thing to watch for is pyros, and even then when they see nothing, they don't always shoot. I find the sewers better than the bridge, simply cause by the time i get top of the stairs, the cloak is full. Cloak out to the corridor, then cloak into the spawning area. Sewers are also less used than the bridge.

I had a hilarious run as a spy today. Was playing on a custom map that contained a long underground hallway. I had infiltrated their base and followed half their team down into their entrance to the tunnel. Someone must have seen me disguise myself, because he's yelling "Spy! Spy right behind you guys!" into his mic. Well his teamates are either daft or all had in-game voice muted, because no one turned around. I took out an enemy spy bringing up the rear, a medic and the heavy he was healing, and then went after a soldier leading the charge down the hallway. Somehow the game didn't register my attack as a backstab, because I only knicked him. But it didn't matter, because he still didn't turn around.

Cloaked and went back to my base with the guy on the mic laughing his ass off.

A few weeks ago I was defending dustbowl stage 3 as a Spy. I took the tunnel, and backstabbed about 4 guys over by "The Area Formally Known As The JP". ;) I then ran up to the small building above the tunnel entrance, and waited a minute. I heard some guys coming, so I cloaked and ran around the ledge until I was over by the first cap. I backstabbed their engy, sapped his buildings, and then caught up with their team, backstabbing each of them in turn. :)

I ran up into the building, cloaked, and did the same thing again. :D

Unfortunately, time ran out, so I couldn't see how far I could take my record before dying. In the end, I got 20 kills, 12 backstabs. All 8 of the other kills were with the knife, but I apparently hit them in the head instead of the back, or something. ;)
