Stairs?

I'm semi-new to mapping and i was wondering how i would go about putting stairs into my map, ive looked around some online but havent been able to find anything. if someone could at least point me in the right direction that would be great. thanks

A stair is a brush shorter than 18 units in height, allowing it to be walked over. Many stairs together make a staircase. Use the [ and ] keys to reduce the size of the grid, allowing you to make short brushes.

not much tu say- like Raeven0 said put a bunch of blocks not higher than 18 and make a staircase- i usually make a 45° leaning thin block on the bottom side to make them look more stable and instead of placing blocks- place thin "platform like" blocks and try to cut the edges in a uniqe way (cut just one and copy it of course)
