Looks like a good game, but the longer they delay it, the less "*wow* factor" the game has. I know they're delaying to improve it, but they'd need to give it a hell of a lot of improvements to get it looking like a next-gen engine, which it won't do ... so let's hope it gets released before we see anything of FEAR and U3.

realy dont care for gfx so much, it has tons of other elements of wow factor, just read....

Maybe it's just me then. I was really excited about HL2 in september 2003 but after the big delay I just didnt care about it any more, until the month before its actual release. I used to get really excited about stalker too, but I can't even see its release on the horizon. I think it's better to just close your eyes and ignore all in-dev games and only 'notice' them when they are released.

I sort of agree with Pobz, it isnt a good idea to buy into any of the hype... when the games released just play and enjoy it for what it is, not what they said it would be. Hopefully then, we can enjoy all graet games that much better, rather than find faults.

From my own experience the games i've not read the reviews for i've utterly enjoyed.... but when i've read the review, i've looked for the faults mentioned ingame, and it tarnished it alittle.

Agreed. The same with the wait for OoT, that was worse than waiting for HL2 - but omg was it worth it

If Stalker is everything it promises to be it will be fantastic - and the wait will make it all the better \o/

(however, I predict it to be a bag of shite. Let's hope i'm wrong)
