Kickass. This game now excites me more than Splinter Cell, Battlefield 2, and the Nintendo DS combined.

Nothing is great about it. It's a conventional fps that looks pretty. Some interesting stuff but not much.

I find the fact that the enemy Stalkers can form clans, trade, cease-fire, act intelligently, and even complete the final few missions before you do to be a pretty good indicator of this game's potential. But that's just me.

^Potential is one thing.. implememntation is totaly different.

Enemy STALKERs don't FORM clans, the clans are already there, you can't create new ones.

And as said, there're alot of games that've had great potential, say FABLE?
But there're alot of devs who can **** it up, and I really don't trust GSC after that Codename: Outbreak fiasko.

At 1st i wasnt interested. But lately this game is starting to look very good. Must have for me.

That's plenty to base a well backed up opinion about the single player aspect of the game.

not to mention that he played what? a year ago? ya I can see how a year old build of a multiplayer demo can be a strong indicator as to how good the single player game is ...that cemets my decision that Stalker will have the crappiest sp experience of the year!
