Star Trek: The Next NEXT Generation?

So... now that Enterprise is over, what's next?

I've heard a few speculations, like Section 31 or a show based on the book series New Frontier (Is Captain Calhoun related to Barney? ) but they're all just speculation.

Any good ideas out there?

I personally think a show about the Temporal Investigations Bureau would be interesting. Though I don't know if you could make a series out of it.

Pah! Star Trek and its pastel shaded utopia!

I cant see them making another one, especially as the ratings for Enterprise were so poor.

Hopefully they'll give Star Trek a rest for ten years till they can put together a really strong creative crew. I mean look at what all the people who worked on Next Gen are working on now.. Threshold, Battlestar Galactica, The 4400, etc.. no wonder Enterprise was so bad.. and the only reason that started to get better was Manny Coto who was constantly having to lick Branon Braga's ass.. even Coto is onto other things now (24 series 5)

If they made star trek more kickass and less of a soap I'd watch it. More action, different worlds, exploring, aliens, wierd events etc... Whenever I watched that show all I saw were people talking about their feelings, it was like watching a soapie in space.

I've tried to get myself into star trek for along time now but it's such a goddanm boring show.
