This series is nothing short of spectacular. It chronicals the events during the clone wars that occur during the end of ATOC and the beginning of ROTS. Each episode has great pace and is jam packed with plenty of action. :D

The newer episodes (Season 3) strted airing in America on the Cartoon Network, and these are turning out to be the best yet. These newer ones clock in at about 13 minutes each.

You can watch all the episodes as they come online at the Star Wars website. Here's links to the newer episodes:

Chapter 21
Chapter 22
Chapter 23 (currently my favorite episode)
EDIT:
Chapter 24
Chapter 25 The Final Chapter? :(

These are definately a must see for any Star Wars fan. I think this series captures the feel of Star Wars better than the prequel movies. :)

Chapters 1-20 are no longer avaliable on the site (unless you register to become a Hyperspace member), but are now avaliable on DVD for those interested.

Sweee-eat. Will watch them later sometime.

Wow, they are free to watch over the internets? That's crazah!

I might check it out, never really bothered with the cartoon before.

I was thinking recently that this has become a really good time to be a Star Wars fan. Between Republic Commando, KOTOR I&II, the New Jedi Order, and the Clone Wars shorts, it really doesn't matter how good the recent movies are/were.
Its great to see some different takes on the series becoming popular.

Same, I thought it looked a bit silly.

I'll look and see.

I wonder what you guys think of the new episodes. I think they're quite faithful to the films and the whole Star Wars universe. It's almost like Shadows Of The Empire for the prequels. :)

Just ordered the dvd now. :D
Thanks dude.

Well I finally got around to seeing the last 2 episodes, and even though I'm disappointed that the series is over, it definately hyped me up for the third movie. In Chapter 24, there's a chilling scene in the caves that is a great metaphor for Anikan's transformation, and I thought the whole chase sequence was really well done. :D

For anyone who is going to see ROTS, I must recommend that you watch the last 4 chapters (22, 23 ,24, 25) if nothing else. These build right into the opening of the third movie and fills you in on what has happened just mere hours beforehand. :)

Havn't had chance to see any of them, although i would like to. I'll wait forthe DVD.

Chapter 21 is the cliffhanger resolution to the first 20 chapters, while Chapters 22-25 are seperate on their own because they take place at least 2-3 years after the ending events of 21. you could watch them and the first 21 won't be ruined, but if you would like to wait for the DVD, that's fine.

It really is a well done series. :E

The episodes show you the True meaning of the Power of the Force. Windu and Yoda kick ass.

BTW the guy who do theese cartoons if this is the right thing... he also does samurai jack. so if you like the style you might be interested in samurai jack

Samurai Jack kicked ass. D:

I watched episode 22, I think it was, last night. The one with those leet Clone Troopers that went to rescue the Jedi. Was alright. I'll watch another tonight.

I find these cartoons better than the movies. It brings back the fell of Star Wars being more fantasy then realistic like Lucas is trying to do now with the movies. I think he forgot that his story was more about a fantasy stories like King Arthur and the round table Knights. Love the cartoon it's the best use of computer special effects and the 2D style is grate and very 70's.

Alot of people might not know this Lucas got the idea for Star Wars from "Flash Gordon" shows from the 40s. They had "lighting swords" Lucas change them to light sabers. :borg:

It sounds alot like the Lord of the Rings. The real movies are good but the cartoons are not very good. That is just what i think.

I would have said the opposite. :D (In reference to the prequels.)

Watched the last one last night. I can't wait for the movie now.

Sadly chapters 1-20 are no longer free to view unless you are a Hyperspace member. But if you wish to see them, they are now avaliable on DVD.

Chapters 21-25 (Season 3 of the series) are the only episodes you can view for free.

dang.
looks like my DVD collection is gonna get bigger.

I think the cartoons trump the movies.
Episodes 21-25 are better written than the prequels.

no way. Episode 21-25 had some good parts but also had some really cheesy parts that wouldnt work in movies. Like Maci Windu killing 1000's of drioids at once etc.

Although all the parts with General Grievous were awesome, especially when he pulled out the third and fourth light saber. That was better then the movies.

really cheesy parts worked in the movies?
but...I felt that... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

---name that scene and tell me the cheese doesn't ooze from it like an open sore.

That was pretty cool, I love the style. I wonder what they use to make these things, would probably be fun to try and recreate it in flash (only problem is that flash's drawing/painting tools suck).
