some are kinda obvious while others are interesting as to what was their inspiration

IG-88's BlasTech DLT-20A blaster rifle was made from a heavily modified resin cast BlasTech A280 used by the Hoth rebel troops. This gun was cast from an German MP 44 machine gun.

kinda neat

Most recognized/obvious is Han's blaster.

Whatever that gun Boba's was based off of is pretty cool looking.

Malakili keeps the Rancor in check with this Gaderffii, the traditional weapon used by the Tusken Raiders.
I'm not so sure about that. The Rancor gave a jedi a run for his money - some chunky wanker with a fancy spear amounts to a tasty snack.

Also, tusken raider smilie - :dork:

Psh, "In check", Rancor was Malakili's puppy, they loved each other. When I was little I also cried when Rancor died.

Same here, he was only doing his job :( Man those Fijian war clubs would HURT.

I was crushed in the cinema, and from then on I'd always fast-forward that bit when I had it on VHS. I watch it now and have no idea why I was so attached to the ugly brute.

Because he's adorable and when he dies he whimpers like a dog, and anyone would be full of crap to say they would not want their own Rancor.
