Start Uni on Monday 20th

Well ,well. I'm getting prepared to go to the accomodations for university tomorrow, even though registration is on wednesday for people on my course. This should be interesting. Anybody on this forum going to University of Liverpool this week. If so where are you staying?

I moved all my posessions into my student house today! I move in properly next weekend - seems far too grown-up.

I've had my Student Maisonette (It's a flat on two floors) since the last day of term.

And have fun in Freshers week, don't drink too much. In fact, don't drink too much over the entire year. I seriously believe I spent about £1000 on Booze last year.

Student Loans Company has screwed up big time this year, I go back to uni tomorrow and they haven't even sent me loan confirmation (I applied at the end of June)

Yeah I heard about that. I'm pretty much broke now, so if me loan hasnae come through by the beginning of term... Why... Why, I won't be able to get drunk and buy Evil Genius!
Not necessarily in that order, although that could illicit some interesting results.

Apparently the LEA is Huddersfield is so far behind this year (in part thanks to the currently POINTLESS webpage http://www.studentsupportdirect.co.uk/ which was meant to be live months ago) that so far they've only got through 2/4 weeks of applications. So we'll be lucky if we see a penny till December.

On a side note did you get a finance sheet with your enrolment package pob (cos of the finance not being sorted yet)? If so what did u do wi it?

Yeah, well I have it but it's not much use since I don't have the forms from the Student Loans Company yet.

I'll have to sort all this crap out at the personnell office later in the year when I do finally get my money.
