Started new job

..After 6 months of unemployment and just being a bum i've finally started a new job as a cashier in a cash management centre...err...managing cash. I've never seen so much money in my life which was interesting to hold my mums yearly wage in one hand :O

There are down sides to it though, 1. I look at my wallet and think "lame" and 2. You can't even have a shit without being watched hardly

Nah its a crap payed job about £6 an hour but i get to sit on a computer all day and not having to reach more than 1m away . I'm 19.

What's wrong with McDonalds? Sure, it probably isn't something you're pursue as a career, but for younger kids who just need some cash on the weekend or to help their parents with clothes, cars, school supplies, etc there's nothing wrong with it.

im a normal grunt there, im jsut relaly ****ing awesome, i quit once before, and they hired me back starting at 8, i work the over night shift sometimes too wooo so i get 8.50 when i work then. yes i agree no where in life at a mcdonalds job, im just waiting to go to college this summer or join the military i havent decided.

Man, £8 for a normal 'grunt' that's loads. For me i'd be on minimum wage (£4.50?) p/h. My new job i can work saturdays and sundays if i want to and get payed double time, so like £12 p/h but this is my first week and tommorow is DEFO' lie in day

Thanks ...i don't work in a bank as such, its a cash centre and they take over 200billion a year:O. Target for the bonus is 400k a day each..so quite a bit of money...its weird though because the money does'nt seem real :/ theres so much it just does'nt seem realistic. I mean you could'nt spend that much money if you tried...i guess now i know what it would feel like to be Bill Gates taking a look at his stacks of cash . And yes, i can afford WoW now, w00t

Seriously though, the building has never tried to be robbed (except for someone that thought they could drive through the walls, not knowing the walls are super reinforced with steal ), any staff that steal money get caught eventually...every single note is balanced up at the end of your shift and even if its 1 penny out its no good. Its the biggest cash centre in UK as well...if you did manage to get in, get the money and actually get out the building (its half under ground), every single road in and out of warrington is blocked off within minutes, helicopters are flown in and your fooked. Oh its also got a funny shapped roof so nothing can land on top of it.

A bit off topic...but I love my job.

$8.50 USD/hr (pretty good here in Grand Forks, most jobs are $6-$7) and I sit in front of a computer. I'm at work right now actually. I get free food sometimes. I work for US Food Service and today I'm gonna take home a 14 lb. turkey, a big thing of fruit and a huge bag of chips. Yummy!

Handling $ eh. My friend used to work at a big bank and every now and then there'd be big amounts of $ that would come in for rich people looking for huge amounts of cash to take out. He has personally held a huge 30 pound suitcase with 3 million dollars in it.
