startup issues

i recently purchased the orange box for my PC. every single game except half life two works, like HL2:episode one and two, portal and team fortress 2. it will start up and do fine up until it has to load the new game screen, then it will shove me back to desktop with a send error report window. any help so i can fix this?

You're gonna have to give us some information...
Have you tried verifying the game cache, are you using Steam, updated drivers, tried restarting steam?
