Do you care about them?

I firmly do, as I wish to break up the tyrannical grip that the federal government has over all the states ever since the end of the Civil War. And I hate the income tax, it's unnecessary and just gives the federal gov. more power so they can send armies to bomb more countries. ****ing feds.

States rights are a large part of what the country was founded upon. I am a strong supporter of states' rights and will fight vigorously to protect them.

At the same time, the only person you can blame for the current situation in the federal government is yourself, along with the rest of the American population. I mean, seriously, you want to see the porblem? Look in a mirror.

I don't blame myself for the current situation. I have never voted before (too young), paid very little taxes, and would strongly advocate the overthrow of the federal government using any means necessary.

Im in favour of decentralizing the democratic process to the greatest extent possible. Therefore, letting states (and below that counties/cities/districts etc) decide their own affairs can only be a good thing.

I am in favor of centralized goverment (Administration, Congress, Whatwastheotherone? unified into a central organization), for the devisions that the non-federated nation will result in govermental ineffectivness and loss of power.

And as for the income tax, people who do not pay it should be revoked of their citizenship and of all rights that they have.

I like devolution. Devolution is good.
I'm interested to know how Nat proposes governments fund themselves without taxes (that's not a sarcastic-y remark, I swear you used to have this grand plan).

Last I checked, even if you don;t vote, you have the power to protest against the government in a civil manner. You have the power to influence those who do vote. You can also write to your congressmen. By not taking any action, but merely talking about it, you are part of the problem you feel exists, and are not part of the solution.

Apparently before the North East referendum, they started moving a lot of London government people into the North East Council posts, so that even if they did vote for a local parliment or whatever, London would still have a tight grasp of power. A rumour I heard.
