Steam Account 2nd Computer?

Simple question: If I use my Steam Account on another computer, will I get banned from Steam? I remember Valve banned like 25,000 people when HL2 first came out, due to disk copies, but I was never sure how they determined which copies were pirated and which were legit, which worries me when trying to run Steam on a new computer.

I did a search, but didn't get any results.

you can use the account on two different computers just not at the same time

And if I do, will my account get instantly banned?

There's a good chance that someone will boot up Steam while I'm working on my map... unless there's a way to run Hammer offline.

well acctually i think it only does that for games online not offline stuff or its just says 'steam ticket expired'

It will not let you run both at the same time and you will not get banned.
