Steam Beta v1 release all over again?

Doesn't anyone else have the feeling that this is exactly like the first release of steam beta. Also on the steam web page i noticed that they have alot less bandwidth then they did when they were releasing HL movies? WTF are they thinking?

I know that steam was just released, but what i'm getting at is that valve decreased there maximum amount of bandwidth look

They use to have about 2000Mbps in total, no they only have a total of 800, Why in the world would they do that on such a critical release, what were they thinking?

I'm in no way flaming valve cause i really like them... but sometimes i question if things are thought through before put into execution...

Aslo steam is currently killing my system resources, it's crazy.

it's like they just created the bandwidth apocalipse
