steam certificate lenth error! 0/1024

hello people, im new on here so i hope im posting in the right place, sorry if im not,
2day i kept getting disconected from dod servers and kept getting this message,
steam certificate lenth error! 0/1024, i went on the net but all the posts i read ,nobody new anything so i asked a friend, he told me to rename my client registry,BloB, so i done that and restarted steam and all is fine now,
i just thought i would share this information in the hope that if anyone els has this problem they will find this helpfull,
make sure u have your steam pw cos u have 2 log in again,,,,,, i hope this helps others
