Steam Client Beta Available

A new beta for Steam is available. To access it go to File>Settings, and on Account tab pick Change... button. [br]From drop down menu pick Steam Client Candidate.
[br]List of changes:

• Fixed NAT-traversal library using too much CPU during L4D - matchmaking
  
• Fixed several localization issues
  
• Fixed install wizard forcing clients to install the full version of a game instead of the demo version, when the full version isn't released yet
  
• Added l4d.com to the whitelist of chat url's not to warn about

Weak. After I chose to change to the beta it restarted but now cannot connect to the Steam Network - i.e. it won't update and won't start up.

Open regedit, and delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Steam\Beta key.
