Steam Client Update Deletes all Steam Community Friends

In a Steam client update tonight which added a fix for Steam's offline mode not working correctly, tens of thousands of people have found their entire Steam friends lists wiped clean.[br]Fear not as Valve are working on the issue right now and a fix will be implemented in the coming hours. You will not need to re-add all your friends. Steam thread.

Glad I didn't restart steam when the update prompted me to now! Hopefully they'll have a fix up soon and not descend into Valve time.

Yeah mine disappeared, was glad to see them back today.

The only thing is I have to re-approve friends which were previously on my list, and had re-add me during the disappearance, before they showed up.
