steam CS/HL .cfg unbound keys etc. help

For some reason I cant type after some rounds in CS, or all my keys become unbound after a few games. I want to back up the cfg file for the bindings for keys where can I find this or how do I do it, It sucks having to uninstall then reinstall.

The config file is config.cfg and it's in Steam\SteamApps\YourEmail\Counter-Strike\cstrike folder.

Hmm, does this happen only on one server or on all of them? There are some sick admins out there who think it's fun to unbind all your keys.

You could try tying in the config "exec config.cfg", without the ", or if it clears your cfg just make a new one, name it config.cfg then copy it and name it anything, then whenever that happends acces the console and write exec name.cfg. But this is more of a temp. fix.
