Steam Does not want to start.

Hello Pll og Hl2.net. The other day i wanted to play ne couldent. My steam just kept on going Updating... Updating... Sometime it would reach 1% other times it would just stay at 0%. I tried deleting my the client registry file but the same thing keeps on acuring. So i formatted my Computor. But the same problem keeps on comming and comming i dont know what to do plzz be so kind to help ^_^

Have you checked your firewalls, Anti-Virus make sure nothing is blocking Steam from updating. Also how long did you leave it to update? because depending on your internet speed and the last time you updated it could take a while.

Well i just sayd i Formated... So every thing is gone... I have left it one for some time maybe 3 hours. I will maybe Go to 1% then bounce back to 0% and itsa really starting to make me Pisseed. Plus i have Uninstalled Norton put off Windows Firewall and nothin is happending
