Steam.exe keeps deleting itself!!

Everytime I update steam (fresh install) it gives me an error thats says

"Can delete steam.exe, access denied"

urrrr, excuse me, I dont want to delete steam :hmph:

after some anger, I finally got it to update, I go to play it and steam.exe has gone :|

*sigh*, and yes, ive scanned for spyware/adware/trojans etc etc, so dont go on about that

yay, seems that I was using an old copy of steam which was on my backup HDD.
I just simply downloaded the 600k one on the steam site and now it works perfect :thumbs:

Yeah, that solved my network going down problem too
