so I've got some money in my paypal account, thats looking for a new home.

any games you'd recommend (already got RO)

now before you begin heres my laptop spec:
vista home (32-bit)
2 gigs of ram
AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 TL-58 (3.2 ghz altogether I believe)
graphics card NVIDIA MCP67M 64mb dedicated mem
(799 total avalible graphics memory)

I think Peggle is well worth it. Many hours spent on that game.

Bioshock
Advent Rising
FlatOut 2
Rainbow Six Vegas 1

edit ...Oooh, didn't see your GFX card there.
Um... The entire id software collection? Except for Doom 3 and Quake 4.

Deluxe > Extreme

If you like Peggle it's definitely worth the purchase.

Ow.

Less graphically intense games like:
GTA series
Lumines
Peggle
Geometry Wars

For a non-Steam, but on a similar service, Galactic Civilizations 2 or Sins of a Solar Empire

PSYCHONAUTS.

I assume you've got the Orange Box and shiznit?

Ghost Master is pretty good fun for a very cheap price, also hitman bloodmoney.

of course I have the orange box, and my roommate has psychonauts for the console.

It is, admittedly, better on Console. But getting it whereever is good enough for my purposes.

Flatout 2
Shadowgrounds
Vampire Bloodlines
Peggle Deluxe (if you liked Peggle Extreme)
Defcon (although admitting I haven't played it much since I played it heaps when it first came out)

some good news I think.

appearently you can change the video cards dedicated memory in the bios( ie from64 to 128)

don't know how much it'll truely affect performance

^ But you do that at the expense of system memory, which might actually give a performance decrease.

Audiosurf.

Deus Ex.

GTAII and III.

Red Orchestra seems good.

Deus Ex; Call of Duty 4; Doom I, 2 and Final Doom; Audiosurf.

The Max Payne games.

Everything everyone else has said in this thread :p.

ended up getting audiosurf (I like!) and rome: total war (loved the first one, hopefully rome runs ok on my system)

Hah, I was about to recommend the Total War series too.

Good choices.
