steam - half-life1 - music

when my friend was over, we were messing around with half-life the first on steam, and skipping to fun levels in half-life, and we noticed there was kewl NEW MUSIC on half-life steam version, were like OMG!! ownz, so we went on a search for sound files, and couldnt find any...
- i was wondering if anyone knew where to find these in steam, or just to download somewhere, cause id love to have these to listen too

that music was on the original HL CD, i guess you missed it the first time through the game, so if you have the cd you can rip it i believe, other than that, the files are mp3s in steam...

gar, cant find mp3's in steam....
and how to a rip the half-life cd? i believe the sond files are in the data1.cab file, but... open and nothing there...

no, the sound files are in the steam cache file, making them hard to get out.

on the HL cd they are just like audio cd tracks after the data, get a program like cdex or EAC and it will let you rip the sound files off your cd.

I thought they were under the media folder? Thats where I saw em...

on the HL cd? hmm, not on mine mine are on there like audio tracks after the data, ripped with EAC.
